What You'll Do
As a Master Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability by:
- Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
- Performing repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems
- Conducting advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic equipment and software
- Performing inspections and recommending required repairs
- Completing oil changes, brake services, tire installations, alignments, and other preventative maintenance services
- Working on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including hybrid and electric vehicles
- Documenting repairs, labor, and parts accurately
- Ensuring all work meets safety, manufacturer, and company standards
- Assisting with workflow management and supporting shop operations as needed
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Delivering excellent customer service by clearly explaining vehicle concerns and repair recommendations
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of automotive repair and diagnostic experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and computerized vehicle systems
- Experience diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Technical or vocational training in automotive repair preferred
- Experience with EV and hybrid vehicle repair is a plus
- Leadership or mentorship experience is highly desirable
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and business-required schedules
